Welding Procedure Qualification

Magna Inspections Ltd. can approve welding procedures in accordance with BS EN ISO 15614-1 and BS EN ISO 15614-2.

Advice on procedure qualification is given free of charge, and a proposal will be sent out of the necessary welding procedures for a company to be totally covered.

Preliminary welding procedures can be written by ourselves, and following the witnessing of the welding procedure the test pieces will be taken to a UKAS accredited laboratory for mechanical testing.

Procedures will be issued and approved and WPS’s (welding procedure specifications) can be written.

We can also update BS EN 288-3 welding procedures to ISO 15614-1, in order for a company to comply with ISO 3834.

We also offer the services of ‘Responsible Welding Coordinators’ for the ISO 3834 accreditation scheme.
