Magna Inspections Ltd. covers various aspects of welding inspections for the manufacturing, construction and commercial industries; these also include consultancy, inspection, quality control and testing services.
Welding Consultancy
Welding engineering consultancy includes various aspects such as; technical audits, appraisals of design, manufacture, suppliers, selection of the welding process, materials selection and evaluation. We also have a qualified Metallurgist on the team for any defect investigation work and are fully competent to assist any company in gaining the ISO 3834 accreditation.
Inspection Services
This includes on site welding surveillance, witnessing and qualifying welding procedure qualifications in accordance with BS EN ISO 15614, witnessing and qualifying welder qualifications in accordance with ISO 9606 (other standards may be used for qualification if specified by the client).
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
To comply with full accreditation to ISO 3834 we complete a preliminary assessment which looks at the fabrication, welding process and design of the project this is drafted and prepared and documented with in-house audits and improvement ingenuity that could be implemented.
Non-Destructive Testing
We provide PCN Level II Technicians in Ultrasonic Testing and Magnetic Particle Inspection. CSWIP qualified inspectors for Visual Inspection and PCN Level III Technicians in Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Liquid Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.
CE Marking Services
We offer the full welding package for a company to obtain CE marking in accordance with BS EN 1090.
Laboratory Testing
In order to qualify our welding procedures and qualifications we use a UKAS accredited laboratory.
